2027 Huntsman Costa Rica Internship Program

Who We Are Looking For

Our intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled as full-time students at an accredited university. This will be a 11-month Internship from January to November. Working hours can be a minimum of 24 hours up to 40 hours per week- dependent on the intern’s availability. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career. Compensation is of 420,000 colones per month.

All candidates are expected to work at our office in AFZ, Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please note that there may be occasions where additional office days are required, due specific business needs.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

Human Resources Intern

Accounts Payable Intern

Supply Chain Intern

Purchasing Intern

Majors: Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade or related fields

Typical Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order (PO) creation and support
• Supplier and stakeholder support
• Payment issue resolution and coordination with AP teams
• Follow-up on supplier confirmations and outstanding items
• Compliance, controls, and audit support
• Documentation maintenance and accuracy verification
• Process improvement and project support
• Participation in business meetings and cross-functional initiatives
• Supplier relationship management
• Procurement operations support
• SOX and Internal Audit compliance activities.

Common Qualifications Across Most Internships
