This position supports Markets Technology Governance activities for UK/Europe/MEA Clusters. The core responsibilities are to support governance and oversight over strategic projects, stability issues or operational risk events, technology risk appetite breaches and any other topics impacting Markets Technology in the given clusters. This includes materials preparation, review and submission to the senior governance forums for UK and Europe (SMF24, Europe TOC/TOMF, Markets BRCF, etc) and interaction with senior stakeholders to ensure representation and holistic cross-asset coverage of the Markets Technology organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Markets Tech activities impacting UK/Europe/MEA Clusters – including a variety of topics strategic projects, stability issues, operational risk events or technology risk appetite breaches.
  • Material preparation, review and submission to the cluster governance forums (like SMF24, Europe TOC, Markets BRCF, etc.) on behalf of Markets Technology
  • Interaction with senior stakeholders in the clusters to holistically represent Markets Technology organization
  • Participation and governance over the strategic projects, if needed sub-coordination of the cross-asset technology work to enable the best outcomes
  • Partnership with legal entity management teams in regulatory communications, support of the regulatory driven events or franchise wide projects driven by cluster management to represent Markets Technology

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a technology project management or governance roles
  • Experience and understanding of the Markets business domain
  • Team player with ownership mentality.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and willingness to assume responsibility.
  • Experience and demonstrated track record of collaboration across multiple, cross-enterprise projects /initiatives with proven outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage own workload within tight deadlines
  • Ability to lead and deliver results with attention to detail
  • High performance and motivation level under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
