What You’ll Experience in This Role:
As the Supplier SIOP Manager, you’ll be at the center of shaping how our supplier network scales with the business. You’ll partner cross‑functionally and externally to drive alignment, anticipate change, and strengthen our supply base for long‑term growth.
Design and lead a collaborative Supplier SIOP process that enables our supply base to scale alongside company growth
Collaborate with strategic sourcing partners to build aligned, long‑range material plans across platforms
Create and standardize clear templates, tools, and formats that guide each stage of the Supplier SIOP process
Assess internal and external capacity and capabilities to drive and implement insourcing/outsourcing strategies
Plan and facilitate strategic supplier alignment meetings, including executive‑level updates and reporting
Work directly with suppliers to develop capacity plans and actionable strategies that support volume expansion
Evaluate and reconcile supplier capacity versus demand, challenging assumptions and ramp‑up plans as needed
Perform scenario planning to proactively respond to changes in demand and business priorities
Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening performance and resilience across the supply base
Collaborate closely with external suppliers, program management, sales, strategic sourcing, and SIOP teams to ensure end‑to‑end alignment
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
5+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
A strong analytical mindset with the confidence to challenge data, assumptions, and material delivery schedules to ensure plans are built on reliable inputs
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization and with external partners

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
