This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly qualified candidate to support our government customer. The Business Manager position provides support to the Program Manager for the daily program management and oversight for all tasks and requirements associated with this contract. The Business Manager shall be accountable for ensuring all services are delivered and all tasks are performed within established program guidelines and budgets. 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact for the Government and contractor security offices
  • Assisting with the planning, directing, and scheduling the timely and successful accomplishment of the effort described in the SOW
  • Submission of all items to be delivered under this contract
  • Process account and access requests on behalf of contract team
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the solutions of problems
  • Provides management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting. financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and support
  • Assists with the preparation of contract deliverables
  • Prepares Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other technical documentation.
  • Able to supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years relevant program management support experience
  • 10+ years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent or coursework
  • Experience as a technical writer

Clearance: TS/SCI required

Basic Compensation:

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
