Job Description:
ServiceNow Technical Consultant – Governance, Risk & Compliance (SecOps)
Job Summary
· Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) applications
· Implement and customize Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence modules
· Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with security tools (e.g., scanners, SIEM, EDR, SOAR platforms)
· Build workflows, Flow Designer logic, business rules, scripts, UI policies, and dashboards
· Customize data models, forms, reports, and performance analytics for security use cases
· Automate risk scoring, vulnerability prioritization, and remediation workflows
· Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data imports
· Collaborate with security analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
· Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and security controls
· Support platform upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
· 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
· Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules
· Strong scripting skills in JavaScript (Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules)
· Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST APIs
· Understanding of cybersecurity concepts: vulnerabilities, incidents, threat intelligence, CVSS, risk scoring
· Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party security tools
· Ability to work closely with security and IT teams in an agile environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
· ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS – SecOps, CAD)
· Experience with GRC, IR, or VR implementations
· Familiarity with security tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar
· Experience with Performance Analytics and custom dashboards
· Knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and asset management within ServiceNow
