The Role

Your mission

In the Gotphoto product team, we're building a powerful yet easy-to-use consumer-grade platform that meets both the self-service needs of the entrepreneurial photographer and the more advanced needs of a scaling photography business.

Our business and team are growing: By the end of 2024, we will have around 200 employees distributed over five countries. As we grow and expand, we recognize the need for a dedicated Group Product Manager to join our team, mentor and upskill our Product Managers, and maximize the impact of our product roadmap.

Responsibilities

As part of the GotPhoto Product Leadership Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving the product strategy for a domain that spans multiple product teams

  • Coaching and mentoring a team of Product Managers, supporting their professional growth to become a high-performing, commercially minded team

  • Influencing multiple product roadmaps, from workflows to e-commerce to ensure strategic alignment

  • Immersing yourself in product data and overseeing a broad range of metrics that span multiple products, focusing on the performance of our PMs and their business impact

  • Spending quality time with customers

  • Developing your market knowledge, including attending industry events

  • Making the complex simple

We are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS companies

  • At least 2 years of experience mentoring and leading product managers

  • A proven track record of delivering outcomes as a product manager

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how marketing and product teams should collaborate to succeed

  • A keen interest in how emerging technologies can add value to customers

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels

  • SQL skills and data literacy are a bonus

The Perks

  • Our culture: Yes, this may sound cheesy - but our eNPS of 47+ speaks for itself and the collaborative and open work environment we’ve created. We have a bi-annual review process and a strong feedback culture to ensure your growth.

  • Hybrid Work: We operate in a flexible hybrid model, combining the best of both worlds (you can find us at Hausvogteiplatz in Berlin).

  • Work from Abroad: We support you in working from almost anywhere, allowing up to 40 days outside your home country.

  • Generous Leave Policy: Our minimum is 26 days, with an “unlimited policy” to help you balance work and life. Plus, the 24th and 31st of December are considered half working days.

  • Health & Wellbeing: We offer a discounted membership to the Urban Sports Club to support your wellbeing.

  • Learning & Development: You'll receive an annual learning budget of 500 EUR, which can be increased to 1,000 EUR. If you want to improve your German or English, we have you covered with Lingoda.

  • Full productivity: Select your setup - Apple, Windows - and follow your preference!
