  • You will have experience in working with business and technical teams through the breadth of Human Centered Design (HCD), Software Development Life Cycle and comprehensive working knowledge of agile methodology and its various frameworks and practices with background as an Agility Coach. Also be able to coach teams to deliver on their business and customer outcomes through embedding appropriate agile ways of working.

Your team:

You will be part of Commonwealth Bank's Business Banking business unit working under our Agility Practice in the Everyday Business Banking Agility Chapter. Overall, the Agile practitioners within the team are focused on supporting Business Bank with their agile transformation journey and embedding the Pace ways of working.

 

Your Impact:

As an Agile Coach, you will play an integral role contributing to the successful agile transformation and continuous improvement at an organisational level, working within the Business Banking domain.

You will be expected to lead and develop a Crew level coaching plan that drives continuous improvement, delivery maturity and maximises continuous flow of valuable outcomes through the squads in a sustainable manner aligning to agile principles and Group's improved way of thinking, planning and working at CommBank known as Pace to help us achieve our NPS +30 customer goal.

Core Responsibilities

  • Implements practices that support teams through the stages of adopting, learning and supporting continuous improvement including process and maturity assessments and adoption roadmaps.
  • Provides individual and group coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Supports and provides feedback to teams on their operating rhythm activities (business unit-level, team-level, etc.)
  • Facilitates continuous improvement by leveraging learning's and processes established within existing teams.
  • Embeds an inspect-and-adapt culture by helping establish metrics across the team.
  • Coaches key stakeholders on how to use defined metrics as a diagnostic to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Helps teams to identify and resolve impediments and blockers that impact the team’s delivery of quality customer outcomes.
  • Supports teams to scale and consistently adopt emerging best practices.
  • Partners with teams and leaders through problem solving to surface systemic organisational issues and challenges impacting teams and inhibiting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Supports the facilitation of a consistent ceremony cadence and empowers colleagues across the organisation to adopt and embed.

  • Have a deep understanding of agile practices, principles and thinking
  • Knowledgeable around human centred design and integrating this into the ways of working
  • Worked with Technical Product teams and understand their processes
  • Have implemented agile in frontline creating a feedback loop into the product teams
  • Have experience in coaching operational teams in the pursuit of performance uplift
  • Knows when to appropriately switch stance between coach, mentor, teacher and facilitator
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems autonomously
  • Think strategically and act pragmatically
  • Lead with curiosity and humility
  • Deliver transformational change in a human centred way
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Are able to mentor and drive the capability uplift of others to create exceptional teams
