Job Description Summary

               

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Workplace Solutions to lead our efforts in optimizing and managing our Microsoft 365 (M365) and SharePoint environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with a focus on enhancing workplace productivity and collaboration through effective use of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange tools.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategies for the effective use of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange to enhance workplace productivity and collaboration.
    • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align workplace solutions with organizational goals and objectives.

  • M365, SharePoint & Exchange Management:
    • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance and support of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange environments.
    • Ensure the security, compliance, and performance of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange systems.
    • Manage user access, permissions, and roles within M365, SharePoint, and Exchange.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the effective use of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange.
    • Consolidate the North America and EMEA M365 tenants to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage projects related to the deployment, upgrade, and enhancement of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange solutions.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Manage stages of projects through uniquely assigned project manager roles and responsibilities.  Execute project management disciplines to ensure project activities and tasks are delivered on time, within budget and according to approved scope and quality requirements.
  • Training & Support:
    • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are proficient in using M365, SharePoint, and Exchange tools.
    • Provide technical support to resolve issues related to M365, SharePoint, and Exchange.
    • Conduct effective investigation, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of Incidents / problems.  Develop, Implement, and document solutions in a timely manner and validate with system users that service has been restored.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in M365, SharePoint, and Exchange to continuously improve workplace solutions.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years + of experience in IT management, with a focus on M365, SharePoint, and Exchange.
  • 5 years + of experience with desktop / server hardware and software installation and support required
  • Strong knowledge of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange administration, configuration, and security
  • Possess excellent problem-solving abilities including analytical, prioritization, and escalation
  • Proven experience in leading and managing IT projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications related to M365, SharePoint, and Exchange.
  • Experience with other collaboration tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $110,610.00 - $165,920.00
