The TITLE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE is responsible for conducting effective follow-up for motor vehicle titles. This includes communication with customers, clients, motor vehicle dealers, and motor vehicle agency personnel.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Review queues, determine and pursue effective follow-up steps to ensure receipt of title documents.
  • Review title documents to determine if a correction is warranted and process necessary correction.
  • Release leased or retail title documents per state and client guidelines.
  • Contacting clients by phone or e-mail.
  • Receiving incoming calls from clients, dealers and customers and respond as necessary.
  • Process incoming title related work received either by client request, department notification, or incoming mail and/or FedEx.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)

  • High school diploma or equivalency.  
  • Accurate keying skills and ability to speak clearly. 
  • Mastered knowledge of Title Service functions.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with vehicle titles, DMVs, or auto dealers.

MINIMUM JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Reading comprehension.   
  • Mastery of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with use of computer.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Ability to analyze data and note exceptions needing resolution.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people throughout the organization.
  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision.
