About the Role

As a Customer Service Technical Architect, you will serve as the technical owner of the Salesforce platform for Customer Service and Digital Experience - primarily Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud - covering end-to-end solution architecture, hands-on delivery, and continuous improvement. You will partner with business stakeholders and product owners to shape roadmaps, ensure adoption, and maintain scalable, secure, and supportable solutions. Secondarily, you will support Salesforce-connected marketing automation capabilities (Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and related genAI use cases where they improve end-to-end customer journeys.

What You Will Do

  • Own Service and Experience Cloud Architecture: Take end-to-end technical ownership of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, ensuring scalable, secure, and supportable solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead Hands-On Delivery: Design, develop, configure, test, document, and implement enhancements, integrations, automations, and custom components across the platforms.
  • Support Salesforce-Connected Marketing Automation: Own core Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) capabilities such as lead capture, scoring/grading, segmentation, and nurture programs; ensure robust integrations and data handoffs into Salesforce processes; coordinate with adjacent MarTech tools where they integrate with Salesforce.
  • Define Salesforce Architecture and Integration Patterns: Own and evolve the target architecture for Service/Experience Cloud, including security model, data model, API/integration patterns, environment strategy, and release/deployment approach in partnership with enterprise teams.
  • Lead Platform-Wide Salesforce Consistency: Contribute to the design, enhancement, and maintenance of other Salesforce capabilities (e.g., core platform services, data model, security, automation), ensuring architectural consistency and high-quality integrations across the ecosystem.
  • Drive Innovation and genAI Use Cases: Lead proof of concepts, evaluate tools and vendors, and identify practical opportunities to leverage genAI in Salesforce-driven service and experience journeys (and related MarTech touchpoints where relevant).
  • Ensure Reliability and Governance: Oversee releases, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical standards with stakeholders, partners, and vendors.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Salesforce solutions, with strong expertise in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (architecture ownership strongly preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of Apex, Lightning, Flow, Salesforce data model, Experience Cloud patterns, security and sharing, APIs, integration patterns, and release management.
  • Integration experience (APIs, middleware, eventing) and data fundamentals (data modeling, data quality, SQL) to connect Salesforce with surrounding systems.
  • Working knowledge of Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and common Salesforce-connected marketing automation patterns (lead capture, scoring, nurtures, reporting).
  • Experience defining platform standards (guardrails), ensuring maintainability, and collaborating on Salesforce governance (environments, deployments, and technical documentation).
  • Ability to interpret complex business needs, recommend fit-for-purpose technical solutions, and lead difficult problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Salesforce certifications such as Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Application/System Architect, or Platform Developer (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement certification is a plus).

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel.
  • Be willing to work in a HARMAN office in Lodz, Poland or from home office in Poland.
