The Sr Process Excellence Specialist is responsible for driving process mapping and improvements by analyzing business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions. This role drives the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow documentation and works closely with key stakeholders to lead process optimization initiatives and enhance operational effectiveness. The Sr Process Excellence Specialist will play a key role in developing best practices, ensuring process consistency, and delivering measurable improvements.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and operational shadowing to gather detailed information of current process workflows, dependencies, and bottlenecks.

  • Synthesize and translate complex processes into clear documentation, including process flow maps and SOPs.

  • Create and maintain detailed process flow diagrams using tools like Miro or Visio, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate, review, and update process documentation for accuracy and completeness.

  • Analyze complex business processes to identify inefficiencies, propose tech-driven enhancements, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and recommend data-driven optimizations.

  • Conduct process audits and root cause analyses to ensure operational integrity and drive corrective actions.

  • Drive efficiency in change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and best practices.

  • Manage strategic initiatives by providing process expertise, insights, and recommendations for long-term efficiency gains.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, business operations, or project management.

  • Proven experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid, Miro).

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies preferred.

  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive strategic improvements.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process innovation.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to

operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25

lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
