As the Lead Engineer, you'll work closely with engineering and product management teams to comprehend requirements and assess their value. You'll conduct feasibility studies and break down intricate product and engineering requirements into streamlined solutions. Collaboration with experts across desktop and browser platforms, services, infrastructure, and product design is crucial for delivering user-friendly, optimized, secure, and scalable products. In your role as a technical leader, emphasis will be placed on fostering innovation and pursuing patents. You'll strongly advocate for code reusability, prevent redundant efforts, and serve as a gatekeeper to ensure teams adhere to the highest engineering standards.

About the team:

As an engineer in this team:

  • You will help Citrix differentiate itself from its competitors by improving the security posture of some of Citrix’s core offerings like Virtual apps, Virtual Desktops, Web and SaaS apps by delivering features like Anti-Screencapture, Anti-Keylogging, Anti-DLL, Anti-Debugging and many other features.
  • You will also get an opportunity to work on multiple client platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android ) and also on a wide range of Citrix products.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of hands on experience on C/C++ with deep understanding of Linux or Windows operating system internals. Should be flexible to move across platforms.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
  • Thorough knowledge of the OOPS concepts, STL containers, and algorithms
  • Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
  • Good understanding of multi-threading, Sockets, IPCs
  • Familiarity with language tools, such as Valgrind, Massif, SonarQube
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git
  • Understanding of Chromium or other browser stack is a big plus
  • Knowledge of Kernel Driver development is a big plus

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, lead and implement enterprise applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Experience working with product managers, graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
  • Participate in Agile development and testing environment
  • Actively supports, communicates and enforces the company’s software engineering processes and standards
  • Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
  • Work on bug fixing, complex customer escalations and improving application performance.
