Job Description
As a logistics supervisor, will be responsible for the management of the Logitics operational functioning and , following the standards and procedures corresponding to the best storage practices. Will be in charge of managing warehouse personnel and managing the logistics operations processes, following good internal and external manufacturing, storage and distribution practices, with a main focus on the activities and processes of receiving materials, storage, inventory control, preparation and dispatch of shipping orders, returns, reconciliation and destruction of materials.
Assume responsibility for maintaining the highest quality standards and generating metrics that allow us to control and optimize processes, evaluate service capabilities and response times to avoid and/or minimize deviations in operating procedures to ensure excellence in services to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a leadership model for the team and the organization as a whole, demonstrating the values and competencies of Thermo Fisher Scientific, always, with a focus on the exercise of being a leader, developing the team including oneself.
- Act as a partner of the quality and customer service sectors to ensure the excellence of our services by maintaining and improving quality standards.
- Lead and supervise the logistics team in order to comply with quality standards, local regulations, GMP, CGP and GDP. - Supervise compliance with the operational process for product reception processes, distribution of shipping orders to research centers, verifying that the team complies with the times established with customers, provide and give solutions to the team on any process, deviation, as well as respond to internal and external customers on any operational process.
- Inventory management, support and attention to the Project Management area, provide advice to the areas involved.
- Supervise the billing process.
- Supervise the distribution processes of clinical research products at a national level to research sites, as well as the services required by the client: product return/reverse logistics, transfers, etc.
- Operational management with courier providers, destruction, etc., supervise the operation at a national level, manage and provide solutions to operational processes, supervise and provide strategies for process improvements and monthly billing review.
- Supervise the destruction process: coordination with the customer service sector, contracted companies, obtaining the destruction
certificate and official requirements. - Generation of KPIs and compliance with established times for each process
- Personnel management, supervision of activities and providing support in the professional development of the team.
REQUIRIMENTS:
- Experience of at least 8 years in pharmaceutical industry, CROs, or similar logistics companies.
- Experience of at least 4 years in similar positions.
- Experience in area or business leadership at least 2 years
- Knowledge of Gxp Standards, regulatory standards, local regulations and procedures.
- Outlook Knowledge, Microsoft Office Package, Internet.
- Project Management Knowledge
