What you will do:

The Sales and Marketing Team Intern will support a range of growth‑focused initiatives for our Sustainable Infrastructure business, designed to increase brand awareness, generate demand, and enable sales through compelling, customer‑centric messaging and content creation. This paid, summer internship offers hands‑on experience across integrated marketing channels. The intern will work closely with marketing, sales, and subject‑matter experts to translate customer insights and vertical priorities into clear, effective communications that drive engagement and measurable outcomes. 

How you will do it:

In this role, you will collaborate cross‑functionally to support the planning, development, execution, and optimization of marketing activities across multiple channels, including but not limited to: 

  • Email marketing campaigns

  • Promotional and operational support using the BigMarker platform 

  • Event support that extends into digital and social media promotion 

  • LinkedIn content development or analysis focused on brand awareness and driving traffic to the website 

  • SEO and LLM/AI search‑oriented content initiatives 

  • Press releases, customer case studies, and other thought‑leadership content showcasing our customers 

  • AI tools and lead accelerators that support demand generation through better potential customer targeting 

  • Vertical‑specific messaging informed by workshops, customer drivers, and market insights 

You will assist with drafting and editing content, coordinating campaign assets, organizing timelines, supporting platform onboarding and training activities, and helping track campaign performance and insights. Using MS Office 365 tools and Adobe Creative Suite, you will help develop customer‑facing collateral and social media content, including posts for executive leaders and other promotional opportunities. You will also proactively research competitors and market trends to ensure that customer value propositions, differentiators, and strategic positioning are reflected in marketing materials, presentations, and related client documents. 

You will also engage with other interns throughout the company as part of our internship development training program which culminates in a competitive small group team project.  

What we look for:

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field or equivalent years of experience in a related field. 

  • Experience with customer research, surveys, journey mapping, or voiceofcustomer initiatives (academic or projectbased). 

  • Comfort analyzing basic performance data (e.g., email metrics, social engagement, website traffic) and summarizing insights or recommendations. 

  • Possession of excellent writing skills. Business graphic design acumen a plus. 

  • Demonstrated ability to think from the customer’s perspective and translate customer needs, pain points, or feedback into clear messaging or recommendations. 

  • Proactive, selfdirected work style with the ability to take ownership of tasks, follow through, and ask thoughtful questions when needed. 

  • Effective planning and organizational skills.  

  • Ability to organize ideas clearly and communicate them concisely in writing or presentations for different audiences (e.g., internal teams, sales, executives). 

  • Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in learning new marketing platforms, digital tools, or AIenabled solutions. 

  • Comfort collaborating with diverse stakeholders and incorporating feedback constructively in a fastpaced environment. 

  • Fluency in common business computer applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Suite – InDesign, etc.)  

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.00 - $22.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
