Job Description

SUMMARY: Maintain Lining production equipment to ensure high quality and efficient output in a safe and proficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

  • Maintain productivity and quality output of the Lining machines.
  • Perform tooling changes, set-ups, and troubleshoot Lining support equipment such as  glue systems and conveying systems.
  • Remove and install die sets.
  • Accurately complete routine paperwork.
  • Submit work order for repair of equipment beyond ability of department mechanic.
  • Must perform any other assigned duties.
  • Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Must have excellent attendance and good work history.
  • Must score at least 42 or higher on the Bennett Mechanical Test or equivalent.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude and be able to quickly learn the mechanics of high speed lining machines.
  • Must have knowledge of product and Lining materials.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 50 pounds).
  • Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $22 per hour; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $21.98 and $22.44 per hour.

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside of these jurisdictions may vary. The Company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
