Purpose Statement:  The Financial Specialist II elevates organizational financial performance through advanced expertise in transactional processing, reconciliation, and problem resolution. Dedicated to streamlining Shared Financial Services by enhancing internal controls, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders. They are responsible for maintaining customer and site financial transactions and processes by implementing process standardization and/or automation to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Gather data from and align with site finance teams to perform transactional financial processes.
  • Develop tools to support process standardization, bringing site processes to a centralized environment to increase efficiency
  • Develop and execute reporting for site to use in the assessment of customer, factory, site or regional financial performance. Prepare reports in user-friendly formats to aid in decision-making and analysis of parts contribution and other material analysis.
  • Use common toolsets such as UI Path and PowerQuery to develop process automation for centralized process and transactions which are repeatable and data-based.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide manufacturing operations with financial and non-financial related metrics. Key metrics may include LCM, Labor OP, scrap, work order aging, work order variances, inventory aging and material variances (inventory valuation).

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a(n) Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is required; a(n) Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred
  • 1 years of related experience is required; 2 years of related experience is preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:  

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Excel is required
  • Experience with or expertise in financial systems is strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:  

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
