As the only team within HP, that looks at the end to end of every Financial process, be it HP Finance, Supply Chain, Tax, Order to Cash, Channel Operations, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to map the complete process and identify gaps and compliance irregularities.

Work You'll Do
 

  • Perform reviews of HP Financial processes, procurement, tax and other processes/systems to identify process gaps, compliance irregularities and thus financial leakages.
  • Deploying data analytical methodologies to the complex and intricate financial data to identify anomalies in the process.
  • Constant need to improvise reviews and identify and pursue green field recovery opportunities to ensure Financial commitments to Management are met QoQ.
  • Implementing cost reduction initiatives, conducting spend analytics, contract analytics, financial analysis, procurement risk analysis and supplier performance assessment
  • Review contracts, agreements, documents, ERP and electronic documents to identify possible anomalies in financial transactions.
  • Conducting reviews by examining a client’s accounts payable financial data utilizing appropriate audit concepts and proprietary tools/reports
  • Program manage all Recovery Projects under your vertical and execute multiple projects by identifying new opportunities, present proof of concept to stakeholders and get business buy-in to deliver profitable projects for spend $1B – 2B
  • Build analytical hypothesis catering to specific HP Business Models and processes
  • Corresponds with the stakeholder for any question or explanation required; facilitate resolution of major supplier/vendor issues for a favorable outcome; engage in discussions with stakeholder regarding the review findings and dispute resolution
  • Implement tailormade initiatives devised by Asset Recovery Management
  • Develop strategic reports to provide predicative analytics that allow our leaders to augment business decisions
  • Identify technology improvements that can differentiate Asset Recovery
  • Identify processes suitable for automation solutions that improve the client’s ability to optimize reporting strategies and processes, identify and reduce leakages and streamline existing processes
  • Hands-on experience in recovery audits with a focus on achieving yearly financial objectives, including expected dollar recoveries exceeding $0.5 - 0.75 million.
  • Build end to end deep knowledge within Supply Chain, Contra or Indirect Tax

Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Management, or related disciplines.
  • 5–8 years of overall finance and accoounting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a global consulting firm, focusing on Financial Service Delivery, Analysis, or Service Operations.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Big 4 audit firms.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-functional, and multi-stakeholder projects in large corporate environments.
  • Proficiency in big data analytics and data mining.
  • Expertise in reviewing historical AP transactions with a high degree of accuracy, prioritizing cost savings, and effective problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with digital tools, such as Power BI, is an added advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams with enthusiasm, effectiveness, and drive.
  • Strong business development skills are required.
  • A proven track record in successful business development initiatives is highly advantageous.
  • An accounting qualification beyond a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
