The Director of Analytics is the company leader responsible for identifying and delivering the models, insights and data needed to assess current business performance and illuminate our path to growth. This role will lead the Analytics team and be the company authority on consumer analytics backed by statistical models and data science investments.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Director to join our team at Mixbook, where you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the world of creativity and human connection. We're not just a workplace, but a community where innovation, data-driven results, and collaboration are at the core of our culture. This requires a multidisciplinary blend of critical thinking, analytics rigor, business acumen and stakeholder management, all applied in tandem to unlock Mixbook growth from our vast data asset. If this sounds like you and and you want to be part of an exciting, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
As our Director of Analytics and Data Science you will have a solid grasp of the analytics and statistical models that are required for a growing ecommerce business. You will be responsible for designing, overseeing and implementing business analyses, ecommerce and marketing experiments and data science models. You have expertise with AWS databases, visualization tools, statistical methods and python.
You will report to the SVP of Data and will oversee a tenured and senior group of analysts each with expertise in one of our business divisions. With an optimal experience of 5+ years experience as a leader in Analytics or Data Science and 4+ years of experience as an Analyst or Data Scientist, you'll have a proven track record of success.
Mixbook is committed to a remote-first environment. This position is fully remote in the US. While the Analytics team is primarily in the US, our engineering team is in Eastern Europe, and some days we have start times as early as 7am PST to participate in status and ideation meetings.
