The District Support Specialist will create an exceptional customer experience while providing personal loan solutions to meet customer goals. In collaboration with other team members, this position handles the beginning stages of the loan origination process and acts as an initial liaison for the market. Responsibilities include reviewing customer needs, collecting information for the loan application, reviewing applications for completeness, collateral, and other financial information needed for application review. Role success will be based on perception of customer experience, reaching more customers within the market, compliance, attainment of monthly goals, accuracy and active learning. The District Support Specialist will learn the lending and servicing business at OneMain allowing them to grow their career. 

In the Role:

65% Customer Experience: Serve customers through outbound and inbound calls. Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships working with customers and collaborating with other team members. Gather and record pertinent information to identify customer needs, obtain customer documentation. Ensure positive customer experience by working with a sense of urgency to meet demand, displaying professionalism in interactions, and providing seamless handoffs to branches. 

15% Support and Operations: Enhance the culture that fosters team cohesion and collaboration. Provide capacity stabilization in partnership with branch staff and perform all other duties as assigned by management. 

10% Training: Actively engage in and complete all required training activities within set deadlines. 

10% Compliance: Adheres to OneMain policies and procedures in all transactions.

Qualification

· High School Diploma/GED 

· 1 – 2 years of related experience 

Location: On site 

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed which may include Saturday.
