We are hiring an Ansible Automation Engineer  
Hybrid working model — Belgrade office 

 

Role Description: 

 
We are hiring an Ansible Automation Engineer with strong expertise in using Ansible to deploy and configure applications and to build and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure supporting monolithic and microservices-based systems. This role is key to maintaining a reliable and scalable software delivery process that accelerates our engineering velocity. The candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure deployments are fast, secure, and repeatable, while contributing to the infrastructure and automation that drive the development lifecycle. 
 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design, implement, and maintain deployment pipelines across multiple technology stacks (.NET, Java, Node.js, C++) using Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub Actions 

  • Automate provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to support infrastructure as code across cloud and on-prem environments 

  • Own and optimize deployment pipelines, integrating smoke tests across various environments 

  • Create and manage release automation tooling to support development teams and end customers 

  • Improve release automation workflows for cloud-native and on-prem environments, integrating tools such as Ansible, Argo CD, Helm, and Docker 

  • Automate configuration and provisioning of developer lab infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes 

  • Contribute to internal documentation and training to enhance platform adoption and self-service capabilities 
     

Your Profile:  

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles with a strong focus on Ansible deployment automation 

  • Deep experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools 

  • Extensive expertise using Ansible to deploy applications on both Windows and Linux systems 

  • Strong background in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and optionally CloudFormation 

  • Experience with containerization and deployment technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo CD 

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and infrastructure automation with Terraform or Ansible 

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a release management focus on minimizing build-to-release friction 

  • Detail-oriented, strong in infrastructure and deployment tools, and passionate about streamlining and optimizing developer workflows 
     

Plus if you have:  

  • Experience supporting cross-platform environments (Linux, Windows) 

  • Background in release management or coordinating production releases 

  • Knowledge of security best practices, including secrets management and audit logging 

  • Passion for internal developer platforms and increasing engineering velocity through tooling
