What will you be doing?

• Develop Data Platform Strategy, key policies about usage of Data Platforms in IQVIA
• Build and lead a small global data platform architecture team overseeing creation of best practices for the use of IQVIAs Data Platforms including: Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and many others
• Create team strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Help your team to learn and grow adapting to changing needs
• Hire, manage, motivate, and mentor so your team is successful
• Co-create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation where everyone feels they belong

What is required to get the job done?

• 10+ years experience in architecting data platform solutions on scale
• 5+ years of line management experience in software engineering
• Knowledge of modern data platforms including: Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts: Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, domain driven architecture, Iceberg, Parquet, governance frameworks (Unity Catalog, Purview, Collibra), data mesh, lineage, metadata management, data quality
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate most complex problems to different stakeholders
• Proven experience developing and implementing data architecture policies
• Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to drive changes to successful end
• Positive can-do attitude
• Being a great team player

How to stand out from the crowd?

• Previous experience with healthcare sector
• Experience working in a multinational, global organization
• Knowledge of scaling agile organizations
• Change management experience

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is 268 600,00 zł - 570 800,00 zł. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
