Position Title: Physical Therapist (Inpatient and Outpatient)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: Senior Therapist, Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, Director of Inpatient Therapy Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

Interprets physician's orders, performs evaluations and assessments; designs and implements plan of care; maintains treatment and progress records; drafts and/or presents oral or written reports of patient's status; collaborates with team members toward reaching patient's goals.

Starting Wage: $40.38

The posted wage is the current starting wage for this position.  Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position.  The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.  

JOB SPECIFICATIONS


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Licensure:

  • Current State of Hawaii PT licensure.

  • Current healthcare CPR certification with one (1) month from date of hire (Healthcare provider course or equivalent which includes neonatal, child, adult, and AED's) and maintains certification thereafter.

  • Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements.

Education:

  • Graduate from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy.

Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to safely and effectively manage patients' mobility.

  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to see and hear to safely provide care to patients.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Experience:

  • For Inpatient: One (1) year physical rehabilitation experience.

  • For Outpatient: Two (2) years physical rehabilitation experience.
