Corporate Services (CS) Risk Management provide IT capability, including Run and Service Management support for IT Systems that support Corporate Services business units.

Do work that matters
The Risk & Controls team operates as the centre of expertise for the Corporate Services technology controls environment by;  Driving knowledge uplift and the standardisation of information security management practices and processes; Identifying and evaluating information security risks; Providing insight driven advice on the mitigation of these risks and supporting risk led decision making; and  Providing management assurance through reporting. Manage supplier performance and how we work collaboratively with our suppliers to maximise the value of the relationship

A key responsibility for this role includes:

  • Help define and implement the delivery of an integrated contemporary approach to planning and risk management.

  • Proactively assist Service Management community to identify and assess key risks and controls

  • Manage the process to identify risks and mitigate them within the risk appetite and tolerance within CS RAS.

  • Strong collaboration with CCO line 1 on issue and action management

  • Monitor, identify, report and facilitate remediation of issues and actions

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Experience in controls assurance governance, and/or operational risk management.

  • Controls design, assurance experience within a consulting/audit environment (preferred)

  • Naturally curious and open minded with strong stakeholder management experience

  • Ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems.

  • Understanding of risk mitigation strategies, and the ability to assess the risk introduced through outsourcing / introduction of new suppliers.

  • Experience working in technology, preferably in the finance industry.

  • Experience in procurement, including reviewing commercial arrangements with technology suppliers; including in outsourced environments.

This is a 12 month secondment/Max-Term opportunity.
