What you will be part of (Opportunity)

We are building a best in class in-house door to door sales team to lead and grow Ting’s footprint.  As a Field Sales  Representative, you will be a Ting ambassador playing an active role in impacting the communities in which we operate. You will be driven by the goal to expand our existing reach by prospecting future customers in your assigned territory to get activated and connected to fast and reliable high speed fiber internet, with the best customer service support in town. 

This role requires travel across Colorado Springs. 

What you will be doing (Job Duties)

  • Field Sales Representatives will spend 100% of their work hours out in the field prospecting sale via Door to Door methods. 
  • Field Sales Representatives will work 37.5 hours per week, in their assigned territory. 
  • Anticipated shift schedules are 10 am-6 pm or 11 am-7 pm (including one-hour lunch breaks). Shift schedules may vary based on assigned territory. 
  • You’ll spend your week going door-to-door to residences throughout your assigned territory with the goal of having valuable, face-to-face conversations and educating them about Ting products and services.
  • You'll present and take orders for the fastest most reliable fiber internet service to residents.
  • You will model best practices in the sales process and in representing the Ting brand.
  • You will be assigned weekly sales goals and activity metrics to help drive your success.
  • You’ll be motivated to attain sales goals as a 100% commission based employee with uncapped earning potential. 

What we are looking for (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Passion for sales and controlling your own income as a commission-eligible employee.
  • Must be the model of professionalism, doing things the right way, and treating people with dignity and respect in alignment with Ting’s operating principles.
  • A confident communicator.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Proficient in using a company-issued iPad and application systems to manage and document daily activities in the field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story.

What we need (Qualifications Required)

  • 2+ years of D2D sales knowledge and skills (or transferable sales experience) is required. If you’re eager to grow and be rewarded as a sales professional, we want to hear from you!
  • Must have access to reliable independent transportation due to the nature of this outside sales position to get to and from multiple addresses within the day tied to sales territories. This includes a valid driver's license and auto insurance within the respective state if driving your personal automobile.  
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require standing and walking for extended periods during the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, with provided weather protection materials (heat, rain, cold climates,etc)

The expected On Target Earnings range for this position is $75,000 to $120,000. The commission portion for this role will be 100% of the On Target Earnings. Range shown in $USD for US residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
