Lead and develop both the growth (incl bid and solution design) and execution (operations) teams across all verticals in Southeast Asia and Mekong area.
Ensure team members possess the skills, knowledge, and motivation to achieve agreed outcomes.
Create resource plans and associated business cases where applicable.
Drive and execute the product’s strategic initiatives across verticals in the market whilst ensuring operational capabilities are in sync.
Engage proactively and set direction with the commercial teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders in the Area Leadership Team
Participate in and contribute to establishing the Go-to-Market, Pricing strategy and Sales Target Setting for the area.
Actively monitor the sales pipeline, including reviewing its hygiene, qualifying of opportunities and evaluating actions to improve on win rates.
Be accountable for delivering top quality bid responses on project tenders & RFQs as well as operational excellence during the execution phase.
Assist in negotiations and review terms & conditions with support from legal.
Implement any Global or Regional processes in the Area.
Consolidate, analyse and share local market information including market development, competition, customer, and pricing trends.
Engage within the Global & Regional communities to gain the necessary support.
Analysis of the P&L on monthly basis, create forecasts as well as setting the budget for the financial year.
Extensive knowledge of Project Logistics with over 10 years of experience in a leadership role.
Proven experience in managing teams, both onsite and remotely.
Strong ability to facilitate cross-functional decision-making and execution.
Experience in customer-facing engagements and presentations.
Effective communication and presentation skills in English and ideally a second local language within Southeast Asia or Mekong area.
Understanding of key profitability drivers in logistics and supply chain management
Good awareness of platforms and technology.
Willingness to travel, both internationally and domestically.
Location: This role may be based in Singapore, Vietnam, or Bangkok.
Preference for candidates already residing in these locations.
