The Yahoo Direct Sales Team is responsible for driving advertising investments on Display and Search solutions in Yahoo from advertisers and agencies. This role is key in building relationships with external clients to achieve clients' marketing goal, and driving cross-functional cooperation with internal teams to hit the sales target.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who can bring his or her business skills to get the job done.
What you will be doing
Develop custom client solutions utilizing Yahoo’s entire suite of products
Quarterback a cross functional account team and serve as the main contact for our clients and agency partners
Develop strategic plans to achieve and/or exceed target revenue goals
Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver Yahoo resources to meet not only advertising needs, but overarching business needs
Understand and effectively communicate Yahoo’s value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they are related to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting these to the organization; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
What you will need:
Undergraduate degree
5-7+ years of relevant professional experience
Good connections with media agencies in the HK market is welcomed.
Relevant professional experience in digital media or ad tech.
Demonstrated partnerships with key accounts / media agencies and proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients
Deep understanding of the digital media industry with the ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data and research
History of selecting appropriate products from a diverse product arsenal to solve the client’s advertising objectives; ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors
