The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Distribution Center Manager, where you'll oversee the planning, organizing, and operations of our distribution center and warehouses in Pennsylvania. This role includes managing all distribution functions such as order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, cycle counting, and receiving. You'll partner with operating units to ensure timely delivery of materials, use modern processes to manage inventory, and optimize operations through data and analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a leading global company. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Revisit and develop the warehousing strategy for the operating units in Pennsylvania.
• Partner with operating units to establish service level agreements and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Use modern processes to manage inventory and execute a cycle count program.
• Balance workloads to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift.
• Utilize software, data, and analytics to optimize operations and track warehouse metrics.
• Provide necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff for safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations, policies, and safety procedures.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Extensive knowledge of distribution center functions and processes.
• Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana and EWM.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
