Job Description:

The  Admin Director for Orthopedic Services is responsible for assisting oversight for the orthopedics service line in strategy, operations, capital planning and finances under the direct supervision of the VP above the Orthopedic Service Line.  This leadership position will collaborate with staff, physicians and CoxHealth senior leadership in developing, implementing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures that align with accomplishing the mission and goals of the organization while identifying and communicating the needs of the service line.Education: • Required: Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma AND 5 years’ leadership experience • Preferred: Master’s degree or higher Experience: • Required: At least 3 years’ experience in healthcare, business, or related leadership roles • Preferred: 5 years’ experience in healthcare leadership Skills: • Must be able to work effectively with physicians, staff, public and external agencies. • Must have the ability to take initiative and to exercise good judgment and decision-making • Strong analytical/problem solving skills. • Critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation and Personnel development Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ N/A
