Control (QC) program for all regulatory reporting, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), High Risk Client Monitoring Reports, Currency Transactions Reports (CTRs) and Monetary Instruments Reports (MIRs).Job Summary:
The Manager QC BSA is responsible for managing a function within the Enterprise Financial Crimes (EFC) team which includes oversight of the Quality The BSA QC Manager must ensure all reports are thoroughly completed, identifying errors in decisions, grammar or general compliance with BSA/AML regulations, policies, or procedures. The BSA QC Manger is the final gate keeper before all regulatory reporting is submitted to the Government. The BSA QC manager provides error and trending reporting regarding Analysts’ performance which is relied upon to determine analyst capabilities, performance and training needs. This position reports into the Managing Director of BSA Governance.
Provides management oversight of Regulatory Reporting QC process to ensure all reports are high quality, consistent, and adhere to EFC procedures and government regulations prior to submission to FinCEN
Demonstrates masterly level knowledge of BSA/AML compliance during their duties; including but not limited to, BSA, U.S.A. Patriot Act, CIP and OFAC regulations
Assists in staff member development through training and mentoring
Education, Experience and Certification Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Criminal Justice or related field
6+ years of experience in corporate compliance, banking, investigations, or related BSA/AML field
Knowledge of internal control structure and all BSA/AML laws and regulations
Strong analytical, computer, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
Superb attention to detail
ACAMS certification required
The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000USD to $100,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
