The Platform Specialist (.Net) role reports to the Lead, Customer and Introducer Platforms will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our platform infrastructure. The primary focus will be on utilizing .Net technologies to enhance and optimize our platform's capabilities.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and subject matter experts to implement .Net APIs, Microservices and core system additions required by the business.
Key Responsibilities;
Identify, analyse and develop APIs, Microservices and core system additions using .Net core and Azure integration using Microservices.
Responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementation.
Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards and programming
Troubleshoot issues and provide bug fixes
Be actively involved in incident, problem and change management through to resolution.
Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the program leadership
Create/Manage Basic CI/CD Pipelines (Azure Devops)
Qualifications
Relevant qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experiences
Deep understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns and problem-solving abilities with respect to Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub
Must have hands on experience in .Net/C# core
Knowledge of Integration Design patterns for building APIs from the ground up using .Net Core, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms.
Good Knowledge on SQL (MSSQL) and TDD/Unit-Testing
Implementation experience with Azure service bus, Azure key vault, Azure App service, Application Insight, Cosmo DB, API management preferred.
Good knowledge of git, JIRA and confluence.
Azure DevOps experience including create pull request, participating in reviewing team members pull requests, migrating code to different environment using pipelines, etc
Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, and Performance Monitoring for end-to-end process execution.
