About the Team: 

The Information Technology team at Relativity Space is responsible for all computing infrastructure (end-user, server, virtualization, and cloud), software and software services, videoconferencing, telecommunications services and equipment, networking, and information security. We work with and support the needs of all internal teams, providing critical infrastructure and services for all operations of the company. The complexity and scale of Information Technology needs at Relativity Space provides many unique opportunities to challenge and elevate strategic and tactical technical skillsets of our team members. About the Role:

  • Oversee the design and implementation of robust network architectures to support the company’s operational needs. 
  • Manage and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. 
  • Evaluate the network design, upcoming use cases, new technologies, and performance to evaluate, design, implement, and support solutions to enhance reliability, efficiency, performance, and scale. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the rest of IT and software development to understand their network requirements and provide effective solutions. As well as evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effective network services. 
  • Develop and manage the network engineering budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency. 

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in network engineering or a related role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. 
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and security practices. 
  • Experience with cloud networking solutions and emerging technologies. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for team development. 

Nice to haves but not required:  

  • Specific knowledge of NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ITAR.

$200,000$224,000 USD
