A product engineer will serve as Chain Drive and VCT engineering resources as performing assignments of a general professional nature requiring use and application of standard engineering or scientific methods.

Review customer requirements/specifications and initiate/conduct feasibility studies.

• Supporting customers by providing technical, design and product application guidance to meet customer needs.

• Get and provide required global supports.

 

Support internal design reviews for the local customer release launch, support supplier design reviews for local customer release launch.

• Regularly interfaces with Engineering and other functions Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality and Program Management to address all aspects of product design and function and insure flawless production launch.

 

Follows designs per design guides and lessons learned, maintains engineering evidence data

• Communicate with global engineering teams for knowledge and performance.

 

Generate ideas and complete actions to VAVE, and Support troubleshoot problems encountered in current processes.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering related
* Preference to applicant with verbal and written communication ability in English
