$41.93 - $54.51The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Performs a Nuclear Cardiology studies, which require theoretical insight and experience. Exercises complex skill, judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of the Nuclear Cardiology, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT. Provides/performs a number of tasks in the areas of patient care, technical skills and documentation. Practices /follows radiation safety measures and rules when working in the laboratory to reduce radiation exposure and help prevent radiation contamination. When caring for patients, explains the procedures to the patient and ensures patient comfort and safety during and after exam. Evaluate and address patient's needs and know how obtain medical assistance if needed. Acquires and processes images, performs quality control on cameras and dose calibrator, and maintains the radiopharmacy. Responsible for recording and documenting patient studies on the daily log and on the patient schedule board. Archives patient studies, documents all quality control results according to laboratory guidelines, and orders radiopharmaceuticals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
