The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

This is a Senior Engineer / Technical Lead role in the Commodities FO IT team working within the Regulatory Risk space, owning and driving critical projects such as FRTB SA and CCAR.
In addition, the role requires leadership and architectural design responsibilities within the Commodities FO IT team, supporting our key EOD feeds re-engineering programme.
The role requires interaction, PM orchestration and formal communication with multiple stakeholders including senior Directors & Managing Directors across IT, MQA and Risk.
In addition, it requires strong risk knowledge, excellent communication skills and proficiency in .NET , Python and SQL.
The role requires analysing complex risk problems, designing solutions and giving status updates in regular meetings with seniors and acting as a point of contact for Commodities IT on the above initiatives.
Having developed solutions , the role requires testing , UAT , taking releases to production and application ownership on an on-going basis, including mentoring more junior developers.
