Job Details

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as Senior Director Talent Acquisition for the Florida region, including five hospitals in Weston, Port St. Lucie and Indian River and various family health and surgery centers across the state. This leader makes an impact across the enterprise and within the communities it serves, supporting more than 20k hires annually among clinical and non-clinical roles. 

 

The Senior Director Talent Acquisition is responsible for the direction, results and impact of Talent Acquisition across the Florida region. This caregiver leads recruiting processes and functions, reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Additionally, this leader partners with key executives to deliver the Talent Acquisition Strategy and is accountable for delivering a modern, effective and efficient TA strategy and implementations. 

 

This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to be an influential leader, affecting patient care across a matrixed, patient-centered organization. A leader in this role will work directly with leaders across the Caregiver Office to transform and enhance the ways the organization attracts, engages and welcomes caregivers each day. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Direct and supervise the enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition team. 

  • Build, lead and manage the growing recruitment team, including accountability of achieving performance requirements. 

  • Develop and oversee Talent Acquisition strategy and programs that align with organizational goals and the core mission and values of the organization. 

  • Advise Talent Acquisition Managers and hiring leaders on innovative strategies, effective and efficient processes and market/hiring trends. 

  • Proactively conduct ongoing market research and analysis to have a clear understanding of industry trends in the global healthcare environment and workplace. 

 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field 

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional and functionally relevant experience, including a minimum of five years of management experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or related environment 

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree 

  • Strong operations background or healthcare experience, in a large, matrixed organization 

  • Healthcare operations or Talent Acquisition experience in different US markets 

  • Proven experience managing leaders
