Senior Director, Investor Relations

Description -

Investor Relations (IR) is a critical function within HP Inc.  The Investor Relations team is responsible for developing and effectively communicating HP’s vision and strategy for creating shareholder value with integrity and candor.  As the Senior Director, Investor Relations, you will ensure HP is strategically positioned with external analysts, investors, and stakeholders. You'll work with the IR team to create the strategy, framework, and tactics of our investor relations program.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate the company’s strategy and financials to investors to enable proper modeling and valuation of HP shares, and to gain investor support for the strategy and tactics of the company
  • Develop and execute global investor outreach strategy
  • Closely manage relationships with equity research analysts to ensure published research is accurate and factual; track long-term price targets, consensus and ratings
  • Provide insights on market activity, key investor insights, sentiment and share ownership evolution to the executive leadership team
  • Manage quarterly earnings calls and other strategic announcements including appropriate narrative and supporting details to complement SEC filings
  • Maintain adherence to regulations including Regulation Fair Disclosure
  • Key organization partners include Corporate Communications, Legal, FP&A, Treasury, Strategy, and Business operations

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant field. MBA or other advanced graduate degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience of in-house corporate investor relations, finance, strategy, or similar positions for a publicly traded company or investment banking or equity research

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong financial modeling and knowledge of valuation methods, macroeconomics, capital market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics
  • A writing voice to create engaging investor communications, presentations, and responses
  • Strong presentation skills; communication of financial performance as well as company strategy and technology
  • Strategic thinker who can turn data into insights and tell a compelling story
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and build relationships
  • Ability to engage with and influence executive level
  • Consistently operate with high integrity
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across functions
  • Strong project management skills with ability to balance between competing priorities and be flexible and creative

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $162,750 to $260,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
