The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Global Product Marketer- Structural Adhesives, you will collaborate with diverse teams across the globe and play a key role in shaping the future of our portfolio. You will drive strategic growth initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, and help deliver innovative solutions to customers worldwide. In this role, you will:

  • Lead global launch and growth initiatives for the Adhesive Mix Monitor within the IATD Structural Adhesives portfolio.
  • Partner closely with division portfolio leaders and R&D to prioritize, align, and develop new solutions, potentially including consumables, hardware, software, and hard goods supporting the Adhesive Mix Monitor platform.
  • Support and lead priority new product development projects for Structural Adhesives products from discovery through post‑launch execution.
  • Build the new product introduction (NPI) pipeline by leveraging market insights, customer needs, and emerging trends; develop deep portfolio expertise as the subject matter expert.
  • Identify new business models, partnerships, and ecosystem opportunities that enable commercialization of innovative solutions.
  • Product Portfolio Leadership: Lead a global cross‑functional team to drive revenue growth, portfolio vitality, margin improvement, and operational performance including on-time, in-full delivery.
  • Develop product portfolio strategies focused on revenue growth, volume expansion, and margin enhancement; lead portfolio optimization efforts.
  • Apply strong business acumen to solve complex problems, build strategic business plans, and shape product portfolio direction through deep market understanding.
  • Define and execute the global marketing plan for a product portfolio, including activities related to growth acceleration, pricing, and inventory management.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of experience in developing and executing marketing programs in a private, public, government or military environment
  • One (1) year experience leading cross functional teams, including project management

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree
  • Three (3)years of new product commercialization experience
  • Three (3) years International or global business experience
  • Liquid adhesives marketing or selling experience
  • Experience with business to business model
  • Track record in developing innovating business models
  • Experience leading regional or global teams
  • Results oriented leader with a hands-on approach and proven track record of achieving results while leading cross functional and virtual teams.

Work location:

  • Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.

Travel: May include up to [20%][domestic/international]

Relocation: May be authorized
