How you will create an impact

This role supports C&B, Regulatory reporting, Payroll operations and Tax and HR system (Workday) related activities.  The role also oversees operations of complex payroll inclusive of tax & major national insurances payments and regulatory (Local Labor Law) related matters. e.g. Attendance, Work hours Management, Overtime charge payments, etc. Managing these seamless operations and services in higher standard and quality is very critical to enhance employee HR experiences overall. It also requires to mitigate HR risks by ensuring all of those operations are under control and supervised. The position also performs right data analysis and generation to CEO and management team that could make right decisions for better biz results. Core responsibilities:

  • Lead local activities and executions on all local C&B, HR operations and HRIS (Workday) related tasks and projects in collaboration with Region C&B Lead and Region HR operations Lead. (Year-end Process, Salary Survey, Structure Reviews, New hire offers, Benefit Revisions, HR system implementations and upgrades, and any other tasks in C&B and HR Operations)

  • Provide support on budget/forecast activities on headcounts and C&B costs

  • Provide guidance, solutions, and analytic information to senior executives, managers, and employees on HR related policies and procedures

  • Manage overall process in Workday

  • Manage payroll operations including income tax, and social insurances related tasks through an external agency (Has one direct report responsible for payroll, benefits, and HR systems)

  • Manage overall HR Operations and streamline the processes

  • Prepare various regular and ad-hoc reports required by local government authorities, relevant regulations, local management, regional & global HR, and etc.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proven HR experience especially in C&B / HR System Management / Payroll operations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of experience; insurance or financial services industry preferred

  • Strong technical understanding of employment laws, regulations and practices

  • Strong operational generalist experience, with in-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures and risks

  • Excellent multi lingual communication and interpersonal skills, with the presence and ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of staff

  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently

  • Global experience  would be an added advantage
