As a Project Management Analyst – Level 4., located in ​Redondo Beach, CA, ​you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. The Project Management Analyst will lead the day-to-day supply chain and subcontract execution activities in support of the Communications & Networking Business Unit. This position reports to the Global Supply Chain Program Manager (GSC PM) and will be required to be in-office regularly.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports GSC activities for all program phases, ensuring consistency in GSC processes across all GSC disciplines

  • Lead GSC cross-functional coordination between key engineering, logistics, mission assurance, program and supply chain stakeholders

  • Review change board packages and assess for potential supply chain-related impacts

  • Facilitate and aid development of Program Supply Chain performance scores, return-to-green plans and risks/opportunities

  • Applies critical thinking and synthesis to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, escalating process and performance challenges to the GSC PM and Program Leadership

  • Accurately builds/presents program-level leadership briefings on supply chain status

This position will attend program meetings, supplier visits and may be required to present to groups.  Must be able to work independently and have strong organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 + years of experience – OR -  6 + years with Masters’ in Business or Supply Chain or STEM

  • Knowledgeable of supply chain management

  • Basic familiarity with SAP

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP

  • Demonstrates leadership success and ability to gain influence with peers and others in a matrixed organization

  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated subcontract management from solicitation through post-award, including obtaining necessary approvals for award, monitoring supplier quality, reliability, and ability to support required delivery schedule

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of supplier financial reporting/forecasting and scheduling

  • Knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices or theories gained through wide seasoning and/or special development, specific to Firm Fix Price Other Transaction Agreement purchase orders

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
