The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Technical Cybersecurity Manager to lead our cybersecurity team, manage research and development projects, and oversee various outreach initiatives. This position requires a strong background in cybersecurity, project management, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical projects, supporting internships, and interfacing with various departments within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and delegate tasks to the indirect team to support requirements from the program team Interface with other groups in CACI, particularly IRAD management departments and compliance teams Support intern program throughout the year, including project planning, identifying technical leads, and coordinating IT infrastructure Assist with outreach events such as CTF events, school events, and research support for other CACI departments Plan and conduct professional development events, including CTF events and specialized technical sessions Manage IRAD projects, coordinating with CACI management teams to execute research and development initiatives Provide strategic leadership to team members, prioritizing efforts and features based on "ideal customer" requirements Ensure proper documentation for IRAD projects Onboard new team members Coordinate team coverage for critical duties

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related technical field

3+ years of experience in project management or team leadership

Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and software development lifecycles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with budget management and resource allocation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance

Preferred:

Active security clearance

Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

Proficiency in creating and managing CTF challenges

Certifications such as Project+, PMP, CISSP, or relevant cybersecurity certifications

Familiarity with IRAD processes and government contracting

Knowledge of various cybersecurity tools and platforms

Experience with technical writing and documentation

Background in organizing and running professional development events

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$113,200 - $237,800
