The Role owns the demand forecasting process for the specific part of portfolio/customer and horizon to support planning, inventory optimization and service level targets. The Role is providing inputs for the IBP Process and driving transparency of the drivers/assumptions. The Role act as an interface between Customer Supply Chain, Category Planning, Sales, Marketing, Finance and E2E Operations in the weekly forecasting process.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve statistical and consensus demand forecast

  • Understand and Analyze historical sales data, demand trends, promotions and seasonality

  • Lead the cross-functional discussion and challenge the forecasting assumptions used to built the latest plan

  • Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy KPIs and derive and govern the resulting action plan in collaboration with the cross-functional team

  • Support the IBP process by preparing the necessary inputs, template and consolidation for the montly demand reviews (including explanation of changes)

  • Mantain master data and planning parameters in the relevant forecasting systems

  • Support and actively participate in the deployment of new forecasting technologies, projects and ways of working
     

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Min. 3-5 years professional experience in Demand Planning or CS&L

  • Analytical thinking  and business understanding required

  • High service orientation, continuous improvement and digital mindset

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills (project and stakeholder management)

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Systems knowledge in Excel, SAP BW/SAP APO, SAP IBP, SAC, SAS, o9

Mandatory information in Austria: The salary is graded in the Collective Labor Agreement “Information and Consulting”. If you meet the mentioned requirements the entry gross-salary for this position will be EUR 67.000,-- per year, split up in 14 pays for full-time. We’re willing to overpay, dependent on your professional work experience and qualification.
