Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to have single-threaded ownership of customer engagement for a digital business area, including complex, strategic initiatives that typically involve multiple work streams/functional groups. This includes responsibility for managing work streams end-to-end through the strategy, planning, development, execution, and implementation stages. This role will also have people leadership responsibility for more junior associates. Overall, this role contributes to an organizational function that plays an important role in moving digital commerce forward by driving ongoing improvements for increased digital sales/conversion and customer lifetime value.

What You Will Do

  • In conjunction with key cross-functional partners aligned to a workstream within the digital commerce business, responsible for designing medium- and long-term strategy to grow customer engagement and sales on Lowes.com
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to support cross-functional business team needs.
  • Influences leader decision making by communicating effectively to more senior leaders at Vice President level, providing insights, recommendations, and strategic direction
  • Implements processes to build a go-to-market strategy based on a broad strategic direction
  • Leads the strategic vision, and execution of digital business initiatives that drives revenue and increases market share.
  • Develop new ways of working to implement and analyze digital commerce opportunities for area of business to improve functionality and exceed customer expectations.
  • Leads a team of high functioning talent, who are responsible for analyzing multiple sources of data (e.g., sales, customer feedback, conversion, LTR) to identify areas of optimization, create hypotheses, and define business value to ultimately drive action for improvement.
  • Able to cultivate influential relationships with diverse project stakeholders on digital commerce business initiatives
  • Develops and communicates changes or improvements to area of business, as it relates to initiatives, capabilities, and features to ensure business teams are appropriately informed. Teach business leaders, peers, and working teams about components and importance of digital commerce.
  • Provides leadership to a global team of 6-7 direct reports by attracting and hiring talented individuals, setting goals, communicating clear expectations, providing timely and constructive feedback as well as meaningful developmental opportunities, and managing performance. Identifies formal and informal training opportunities to develop technical skills for the individual and team.
  • Builds, updates, and refreshes processes and scorecards as the needs of the business evolve and change
  • Identifies resource requirements needed from functional teams such as Core and Online Merchants, Store Operations, Pro, Install, Supply Chain, Omni, Tech, and Marketing.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Computer Science or related field . or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 8 Years of relevant experience
  • 4 Years of leadership experience with direct or indirect report responsibility and managing 1-2 cross-functional teams/resources


Preferred Skills/Education

  • Master’s degree Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Computer Science or related field .
  • 4 Years of managing a business segment
  • online-commerce/retail merchandising or business operations
