In this role, you have the opportunity to

Influence the strategy and growth in a leading Health Technology company. As a Senior Manager in the Greater China Healthtech Strategy team you will directly support and influence key decisions made in China. You do this as part of high performing teams, driving change across Philips China businesses on wide-ranging strategic topics such as go-to-market, growth, transformation, turn-around, etc. while working on projects, you are constantly exposed to senior leadership across Philips’ commercial, businesses, and functions, building strong relationships and investing in your future growth. Within Philips, the Strategy team is a proven landing spot for strategy consultants, and a stepping stone for future leaders. There is the opportunity to develop further within the strategy career track, while also having the opportunity to branch into other roles – from commercial, marketing to general management. Strategic planning and execution present the ideal opportunity for members of the Strategy team to get to know the businesses better and vice versa.

You are responsible for

• Develop short- and long-term go-to-market and business strategies.
• Own and execute strategy projects, guided by the management team
• Conduct high quality, meaningful, evidence-based business analyses;
• Build and communicate actionable strategy recommendations;
• Work with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into operational plans.
• Execute the strategies leveraging strong processes and governance structures
• Working with and presenting recommendations to audiences of senior management
• Partnering with other strategists from all business domains to create an overarching cohesive framework for the entire Greater China market

You are a part of

Philips Greater China Strategy, Partnership and Ventures team. The team works very closely with Philips Greater China Management Team to drive the business insights, develop commercial / business / corporate strategy as well as facilitating the strategy execution process.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a top tier Strategy Consulting firm (BCG, Bain, McKinsey, Roland Berger, etc.) plus MBA from a top tier business school
• Or non-MBA candidates: minimum of 5-7 years Strategy Consulting experience alternatively, 6-10 years in Business Development or strategy role for a top-tier international company
• Experience in healthcare industries is a preferred
• International business experience
• A Master’s in Business, Science or Engineering with excellent academic track record
• Excellent analytics and quantitative skills
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• People skills as well as a results-driven attitude when managing project teams
