Job Description Summary:
Under the direction of the Director, this position has overall responsibility for day-to-day training department operations. The Sr Consultant is accountable for developing and implementing operational and training strategies, policies, and procedures and coordinating activities between shifts and campuses. Work with the Director to develop a team approach to problem solving, accountabilities and staff development. Responsibilities include: overseeing all training programs and initiatives, creation and implementation of protective services policies and procedures, and providing liaison with outside law enforcement, compliance, and public agencies.Responsibilities And Duties:
50% Under the direction of the Director, makes decisions and provides direction to Protective Services associates; provides effective training strategy for department; training program scheduling, responsible for the development and implementation of Protective Services policies and procedures. Develops training and policy and procedure processes. Oversees the production of training documentation and records to ensure quality. Meets with care site leaders and attends staff/department meetings to help coordinate care site department specific plans.Minimum Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of Law Enforcement/Security experience in a healthcare setting. Leadership and program management experience. OPOTA Police Commission (Active). OPOTA Certified Instructor Specialized Knowledge: . Knowledge of computers and computer systems required including all Microsoft Office projects. Proficient in preparing and presenting high quality, executive level reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of hospital operations.
