Home Health Aide Training

Salary ranges from 15.00- $20.00/hr.

We are offering a free AND paid two-week training class where you will have the opportunity to earn your HHA certification and have an entry level position with us upon the completion of your class.

 

Class Information:

·        Dates: 9/3-9/16 (remote), 9/17 (in person)

·        11 Weekdays, Monday-Friday (75 training hours)

·        Time: 9AM-4PM EST

·        Location: 10 DAYS REMOTE, 1 DAY IN PERSON

 

Job Duties: 

·        Household chores 

·        Cooking and meal preparation 

·        Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing and bathroom tasks 

·        Cleaning and Laundry 

·        Shopping and errands 

·        Assisting the client with walking and moving throughout their home 

·        Transferring clients to wheelchairs

What is Required? 

·        Valid Home Health Aid Certification and/or Valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification 

·        Passion for helping people including bathing, housekeeping, and meal preparation 

·        Reliable transportation; requires access to dependable vehicle 

·        Valid Driver’s License/ Auto Insurance  

·        Occasional heavy lifting: Ability to work for extended periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity  

 

You will report to the Care Team Supervisor.
