Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) caregivers are international leaders in clinical care and research, and uniquely committed to our mission: “To transform the MS patient journey, and lead the search for a cure.” We believe every patient deserves an accurate diagnosis and state-of-the-art treatment plan. We focus on addressing physical, emotional, cognitive and rehabilitation needs of the MS patient and their family members through a multi-disciplinary team approach. As the largest comprehensive program of MS care and research worldwide, providers in Mellen Center manage more than 8,000 patients and more than 21,000 visits each year.

As Program Manager, you will manage and maintain initiatives related to an assigned program. Your efforts will focus on developing systems and procedures to enhance patient care within the Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will also have numerous opportunities to advance your skills through extensive hands-on experience, all while advancing the future of healthcare. This position is essential to support the operational needs of the MS Center, MSCarePaths, and MS Infusion areas


A caregiver in this position works Full-time/40hrs/M-F/8:00am—4:30pm. No holidays or weekends. One day remote and 4 days in-office. You will work on-site at Main Campus at the Mellon Building.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities. 

  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training  

  • OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience  

  • OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience  

  • OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience 

  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development 


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Experience in a healthcare setting 

  • EPIC experience  
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
