As our new DevOps Engineer, you'll bridge development and operations in a role that offers genuine variety and technical challenge. Working within a tight-knit team of three, reporting to our 3rd Tier Application & DevOps Team Manager, you'll have the autonomy to drive meaningful change whilst receiving the support and mentorship needed to accelerate your career. What you’ll be working on

In this role, you’ll work across the full software delivery lifecycle, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable deployments. Using tools like Terraform, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub, you’ll build seamless workflows and implement automation that removes manual steps, reduces risk, and strengthens system reliability. Your scripting expertise in PowerShell, Bash, Golang, or Python will help simplify complex operations and make them repeatable.

Beyond hands-on delivery, you’ll play a key role in mentoring development squads and promoting DevOps best practices across the organisation. From improving team productivity to enhancing deliverable quality, you’ll drive cultural change as well as technical solutions. You’ll also contribute to observability initiatives, ensuring we have the visibility and insight needed to maintain proactive, high-performing systems. Working with AWS, you’ll help design and maintain infrastructure that scales with our business growth.

What will help you be successful?

You bring proven experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with a track record of implementing CI/CD solutions and automation that delivers real business value. Your technical foundation includes strong proficiency with CI/CD tools – ideally Terraform, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub – along with solid C# .NET Framework knowledge that will help you work effectively with our development teams.

Your scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, Golang, or Python enable you to automate complex processes and build tools that others can use. You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, understanding how to design and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure.
