The Manager, Marketplace will report to the Senior Manager, America’s Marketplace and be primarily responsible for owning various workstreams of our marketplace distribution operation in US and Canada and ensuring the success of our marketplace distribution initiatives. The ideal Manager, Marketplace will have a strong background in pricing strategies, data analysis, and cross-functional team management.

Responsibilities:

  • Unauthorized Reseller Mitigation: 
  • Develop and implement proactive measures to minimize unauthorized reseller activities. 
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to identify unauthorized resellers. 
  • Work with legal, compliance, and security teams to maintain policies and follow up with unauthorized resellers as necessary. 
  • Product Assortment Execution: 
  • Build and implement processes ensuring complete and accurate execution of sales assortment strategy. 
  • Develop and maintain assortment strategy documentation assets, utilizing internal and externally sourced datasets. 
  • Work cross-functionally to incorporate processes into established workflows across sales and operations departments. 
  • Reseller Authorization Process: 
  • Manage the reseller authorization process, including reviewing new applicants and assessing existing accounts for compliance with company guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish and update reseller authorization criteria and processes. 
  • Audit of authorized resellers, ensuring their adherence to policies and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 
  • 4+ years’ experience in consumer product sales strategy, marketplace management, pricing strategy, or related roles. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and e-commerce trends. 
  • Familiarity with reseller authorization processes and policies. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Experience in home electronic appliances preferred.
