Site Engagement & Enrolment Lead

12-month fixed term contract. Open to all locations across Australia.

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engagement & Enrolment Lead to support clinical research sites with patient recruitment, retention and study-specific education. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants exposure to clinical research, and enjoys working closely with sites and healthcare professionals to improve trial delivery.

In this role, you will work in partnership with research sites, investigators and internal teams, acting as a trusted point of contact for trial-related education, site engagement and recruitment support. As you build experience, your responsibilities and level of autonomy will grow.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with clinical research sites to develop study-specific action plans that support patient recruitment, retention and study delivery
• Providing education and training to healthcare professionals and site staff on clinical trial protocols, procedures and study requirements
• Supporting study-specific training needs, helping sites understand and implement trial processes effectively
• Identifying and helping address recruitment and retention barriers, sharing best practice and practical solutions
• Working with referral networks where appropriate to help identify potential trial participants
• In some studies, interacting directly with patients to provide education on the trial, disease area, or device/medication (where required and appropriate)
• Analysing site activity and engagement data to help tailor strategies that maximise pre-screening, screening and enrolment
• Accurately completing internal reporting and documentation
• Organising or supporting group meetings, site visits and educational sessions
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and disease states
• Managing queries or objections from site staff in a professional, solution-focused way
• Looking after company equipment and following all compliance and safety requirements

About you:

• A bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field
• Registered Nurse experience is ideal
• Experience in a Clinical Trial Educator / Site Engagement & Enrolment position or similar role within clinical research / studies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset and a genuine interest in clinical research
• The ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for support
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving
• Flexibility to travel as required for site visits
• Cultural awareness, empathy and professionalism when working with diverse patients and site teams
