About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in retail environments, hands-on discovery expertise, and proven delivery capability in Agile settings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative workshops, can translate complex business needs into actionable requirements, and is comfortable navigating fast-paced, customer‑centric operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product owners, subject matter experts, technical teams, and operational stakeholders—to analyse problems, define solutions, and support successful delivery of initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end business analysis across complex initiatives, including current-state assessment, future-state design, gap analysis, and process mapping.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artefacts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and collaboration across technology, operations, and business teams.
  • Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood, feasible, and implemented correctly.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning, support, and defect triage.
  • Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation, process flows, and business rules.

 

Skills & Experience

 

Essential

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, and gap analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability.

 

Desirable

  • Exposure to digital transformation or retail technology projects.
  • Experience working with data insights and supporting data-driven decision making.
  • Understanding of customer experience design, service design, or lean ways of working.
  • Ability to identify potential automation opportunities
  • Supports solution design discussions to ensure automation considerations are understood early.
